Returns
It depends what you bought
A sealed pack of cards and a one-of-one oil painting are not the same transaction, so they do not have the same return window. Here is the whole thing in four lines.
- Prints, cards and studio merchandise
- Returnable within 14 days of delivery , unused and in the condition it arrived. Collectible packs have to still be sealed. Return shipping is yours unless the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong.
- Original paintings
- An original is one of one, so all sales are final . If one arrives damaged or the wrong piece turns up, send photographs of the artwork and the packaging and Timothy will make it right — replacement where that is possible, repair, an insurance claim, or a refund.
- Commissions
- Commissioned and personalized work is final sale . Anything identified as a non-refundable deposit stays non-refundable once work has started or materials have been bought. Cancelling before work begins is a conversation — get in touch straight away.
- Print-on-demand
- Some items are made for you by a fulfillment partner, so wrong size, wrong color and change of mind are not returnable . Damage or a manufacturing fault is, within 30 days , with photographs. Send those to Timothy rather than to the manufacturer.
Before you send anything back
Ask first
Do not mail a return without getting it approved. An unauthorized return, or one that turns up outside the window, can be refused — and that is a bad afternoon for everybody.
If something arrived damaged, keep the packaging and photograph it: the item, the box, and any visible damage to the outside. That is what a carrier claim needs, and without it the claim usually fails.
The binding version
If the two ever disagree, the store wins
This page states Timothy’s terms in plain language. The version that governs your order is the one on the store, where the purchase actually happens.
