Add Some Adventure to Your Life
Hand-painted cards that go places you will not
The Duck & Compass Society is a duck named Robert, a goose named Mike, and a deck of collectible cards printed from Timothy Colomer’s original watercolors. You buy a pack, or you find one somebody left behind. Then you scan it, add where you are, and pass it on.

How it works
Four things, in order
You do not have to buy anything to take part. If a card found you, start at step two.
Buy a pack, or find a card somebody left behind on a ship, in an airport, on a trail.
Every card carries its own code. Scan it and the card tells you where it has already been.
Put your own stop on its map. The card now knows somewhere it did not know this morning.
Keep it, or leave it somewhere for the next person. Then watch where it goes without you.
The artwork
Every card starts as a painting
Timothy paints these by hand in watercolor. The cards are reproductions — the original of each one is a single painting, and most of them are still for sale.
Robert & Mike
Two birds, one pond, one very long argument about timing
They hatched on the same spring morning beside a golden pond and have been best friends since. Robert starts the adventure. Mike makes sure it actually happens.
